Life at Labellerr: My Internship Story

Hello! I'm Priyanka, a recent Computer Science Engineering graduate from Vellore Institute of Technology.  I embarked on an exciting journey as a Technical Content Writing Intern at Labellerr a few months ago.

With a passion for machine learning, LLMs, deep learning, and content writing, I was eager to dive into the world of technical writing and AI. Labellerr offered the perfect opportunity to explore and expand my knowledge in this field.

Finding the Right Internship and Discovering Labellerr

I already had some basic knowledge of AI and computer vision, which always fascinated me. My curiosity pushed me to look for an internship that would help me learn how AI products grow into successful businesses.

During my search, I had a great conversation with Sumit, Co-founder at Labellerr, who told me all about Labellerr and the opportunities there.

Starting My Internship

At first, I was a bit nervous as I was surrounded by experts in these fields.

However, with the support of my colleagues and seniors, I slowly started understanding the core concepts, especially the idea of computer vision, which is a major focus at Labellerr.

How did it go

To be honest, I’ve overcome my initial fear of technical writing thanks to the incredible learning experience here. Now, I enjoy expanding my knowledge about AI, computer vision, datasets, and more.

The workload is just right—challenging yet manageable—and the weekends give you time to recharge. We have great sessions where the team can share ideas, and one of the best parts is that you can interact directly with the founders.

That’s something you rarely get in big tech companies. In larger organizations, it's uncommon to have a platform for sharing ideas freely. But here, you’re responsible for your work, ideas, and collaborations, which makes it a truly unique experience.
